No time to meditate? Do this!
Hi, I’m Dr. Tiffany Shelton Mariolle, The Manifesting Psychologist and Founder of modAmbition!
No time to meditate? Do this!
Have you heard about all the yummy benefits of meditation but don’t think you have the patience or time to practice meditation?
In this episode, you will learn something just as powerful that is perfect for busy women!
Mindfulness seems to be a buzz word in recent years, but did you know mindfulness can help you reduce stress and live a more joyful life?
And it doesn’t have to be hard. In this episode I want to share easy and practical ways to infuse mindfulness into your everyday life.
Hey Moguls this is an odd episode for me to share given the fact that I used to teach meditation, I have a meditation album, and I even used to sell meditation cushions from my store Conscious LIfe Shop.
But here’s the thing, I know that some people are intimidated by meditation or simply don’t think they have the ability to sit for longer periods of time. Either they feel they are too busy or too hyper.
So think of what I am going to offer you as the gateway drug to meditation if you will. My hope is that this can help you gain all those yummy benefits of meditation and also prepare you for possibly using meditation in the future.
So what is this magical thing I’m talking about: It’s mindfulness
ONE: So let me start with what is mindfulness and how mindfulness can help you have your dream life!
The definition of mindfulness is: Bringing your attention to the present moment
Here are some yummy benefits of mindfulness:
- Increases gratitude which increases an abundance mindset
- Reduces anxiety leads to higher vibes, leads to attracting what you want
- Improves physical health. Mindfulness can: treat heart disease, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, , improve sleep, and alleviate gastrointestinal difficulties.
- Emotional awareness and acceptance

Here are some easy ways to use mindfulness if you’re busy:
- Practice mindfulness in everyday activities
- Make a routine to use mindfulness in a repeated activity like washing the dishes
- Carve out mindful moments to just notice how you feel, this can be 2 minutes
- Step away from your desk. Pomodoro method
- Use your planner to track your states
THREE: Simple mindfulness exercises for beginners.
Lastly, I want to leave you with some easy mindfulness exercises to try for beginners:
- Mindful eating
- Mindful showering
- Mindful family time
- Body scan to fall asleep
- Mindful coloring at night
